Oxford Photography Group
Oxford Photography Group is a loose association of around 20 photographers, all at different stages of their careers. Some are professionals, some are published fine art photographers, and some are just embarking on their photographic careers. Many live, work and exhibit in Oxford.
This group exhibition shows how different members of the group interpreted the Festival’s theme of “Connections”. These range from the literal to the abstract, from the dramatic to the humorous. There is colour and monochrome work, images from both film and digital, ranging from city streets to remote vistas, crowded markets to intimate moments of friendship and family. The pictures interpret the things that join us all together, in the built world and in nature. All are united by the desire to compose through photography, a vision of the world we share.
