A silent film with improvised live organ accompaniment

Step back in time with this rare screening of the thrilling 1922 German Expressionist horror film Nosferatu. Inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, this cinematic masterpiece tells the story of Thomas Hutter who is sent to Transylvania to visit the mysterious Count Orlok.

The whole experience is intensified by a live improvised organ accompaniment by virtuoso organist David Bednall. He has improvised on live radio, performed extensively in the UK and abroad, including a recital at Notre Dame de Paris, and featured as a stunt organist on Dr Who. Bednall is also increasingly known as a composer and his choral works are performed throughout the world.
