Oxford Union

The Oxford Union prides itself as being the world’s most prestigious debating society. It was founded in 1823 and has since built up a reputation for bringing international guests and speakers to Oxford.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • The Union is a short walk from the train station and Gloucester Green bus station.
  • Access to the Union is from the St Michael’s Street entrance.
  • There is no parking available at the Union, though there are some disabled parking bays on St Michael’s Street.
  • The ground is mostly level, and ramps can be put out to help with accessibility into certain rooms where required.
